I don't get that error, but half of my games show nothing but a black window when I launch them!

It crashes - I get a BSOD which reboots the computer.
Here are screen shots of the error - there are two screenshots because you can't expand the error window to show all the information at once:

After rebooting, I got a pop-up dialog box asking me if I wanted to find a solution. I clicked Yes/Ok and never saw it again.

I had some of these errors in an earlier build of Vista and they went away after a re-install of the operating system.
There does often seem to be a problem with getting everything installed correctly, but after all this is a beta. You might try reinstalling Vista and then check if the games run OK before installing any other software.
